Comments (0)Ok so here’s the story…
Back in August we had entered Korg’s Reprise Rivalry Contest.
There were 100 bands chosen out of over 1,000 entrees for Round 1. Each band had to get their fans to vote once a day to get them into the top 50. We finished Round 1 at #37.
The top 50 from Round 1 were then judged by the Korg, Marshall, Vox, Lag, & sonicbids people.
They chose 8 bands for the Final Round and miracle of miracles we were one of the chosen!!!
We then had to take our song that we had submitted for Round 1 – in our case “One Shot” – and create a remix or “reprise” version of it that we would then submit to be downloaded by all our fans in Round 2.
The band with the most downloads would be crowned the winner and would take home over $5,000 in gear plus receive endorsements by all the companies involved for at least a year.
Well that story leads us to present time (October 12, 2010). We are in 2nd place so far and we need everyone’s help so that we can WIN!
